Reciept
It might be a bit silly but I love these old badly printed receipts. This one is from yum yum (a Chinese supermarket in town) and it doesn't make any sense? Apart from the date. You couldn't tell what you've bought, and what's with the random numbers?

Cowboy!
I went to the sunday market at the weekend with my housemates, and came across a lot of gorgeous things I wanted to buy, but my budget didn't allow for much : ( But it reminded me that I still haven't blogged my books from last time round, so here's one which is full of dead cool cowboy illustrations. I love old ladybird books! I lament the day mine all went to charity.

Nuclear
To stop myself from buying every beautiful book under the sun and being squeezed out of my house by bursting bookshelves (as my dad is), I normally try and justify buying a book for it's cover by having every intention of reading it as well. Admittedly I did just buy this book for the cover. I made a valiant effort to read it the other day, and failed miserably.

freaky photo
I recently inherited a bag full of old cameras and lenses (seriously FULL) more camera equipment than you could shake a stick at. So pleased with the addition to my camera collection. So far I have all sorts of half broken cameras, and of course the trusty polaroid and lomo, because I like the idea that the photos never come out as you planned. Sometimes worse, but often better. This photo was probably not intended to come out like this, but I think it's better this way.

Bye bye summer...
It is officially coat season. I love autumn though, my favourite weather is when it's cold and sunny. I went for a lovely walk yesterday in that weather, and i could smell cooking and bonfires, lovely! Today is grey and miserable, which is the worst. I even prefer rain to this! So today I'm mourning the summer. I'm marking the occasion by staying in all day doing uni work and freezing to death. Damn this cold house!

Weather
We've just been set a very interesting project at uni. We were asked to design something for the side wall of the university that reacts to the weather. I just spent a few days researching lots of information graphics and stuff, and then today we get an email saying that the solution has to be typographic... I guess this is a taste of real life where clients will just throw something like that at you.
