Bus tickets

At the Sunday Market there was the most epic new stall, full of crazy things like this. These were reels and reels of old bus tickets, ticket machines, even a bus conductor uniform and the machine for punching holes in tickets. I fell in love with it all, but was dismayed at the price (£30 for a reel of tickets? I don't think so! Anyway, I already have a whole load of old bus tickets like this (which I'll post more of), but what a cool thing to have? I wonder if the machine still works? It's also a little bit sad when things like this turn up in markets and car boot sales. I can just imagine some old bus conductor holding on to all this for years and years until he had to give it up for some reason and it ends up here.

Regret...

I'm a bit cheeky when it comes to the sunday market. I'm forever photographing things I like the look of but don't have the funds to buy. Mainly to put in my archives and on here. Although I wish I'd got that book 'Queer animals and why'. It's worth £2.50 for the title alone.

More stamps

I had another successful haul at the Sunday Market last week. I have no idea when I will find the time to scan all these in and post them properly. Perhaps after I graduate and I'm unemployed but have all the time in the world to blog...
