I picked this up the other day, isn't it gorgeous? lovely soft leather cover and beautiful borders inside. AND I actually have every intention of reading it. 

Poetry

I'm still looking for poetry to use for my last project, which is going to have to be an 'ongoing' project (like all the other projects I haven't managed to get finished on time...)

More old books

More lovely old book covers, bought for only 50p! There are so many places in Brighton that charge extortionate amounts of money for anything old or 'vintage' and 'retro', which I think is a little unfair to us skint students! Anyhow, the good thing about going back home to good old Guildford is that people don't really value things like this so much, so I can pick things up in a car boot sale for next to  nothing. A few weeks ago I got 10 Roald Dahl books for only £2. Happy days!

Guide Books

My main collection (in monetary terms!) is books. especially lovely old ones so it's even better when I can get one with maps in it. This is a beautiful little thing with about 50 little fold out maps in it. And I used it when I went to Cornwall 2 years ago and most of the walks are still there, but the maps are a bit out of date. Quite difficult to navigate with a 100 year old map!

love letters

The thing that I am the most avid collector of is books. This is a lovely little thing I picked up in a second hand book shop in New York last year. It's clearly been well used because it has no spine left and the covers are torn even though it's a hardback! I think that makes it more interesting personally.
